The One Destination Partnership has been celebrated by the Employment Related Service Association (ERSA) at their annual National Employability Awards ceremony in London

Nominated by the London Learning Consortium, the One Destination Partnership was shortlisted for the Partnership Award, recognising excellence as a delivery partner in the field of employment support.

The partnership was set up in conjunction with the London Learning Consortium, Jobcentre Plus, Croydon Works and Gatwick Airport Limited, with the aim of assisting local residents into jobs at the airport.

Unfortunately the partnership did not win but the shortlisting was a valuable confirmation of their excellence as a delivery partner in the field of employment support.

Cabinet member for Planning and Economic Development, Councillor Peter Smith, said: “I am delighted that the One Destination Partnership has been recognised nationally. Their shortlisting for the award is a great testament to the hard work and dedicated of all the partners in supporting local residents into training and employment.”

The next one Destination Employability course will be running in September. More information will be released nearer the time.
